The Sub Accounts feature can be accessed from the Cogwheel in the top Right corner --> Settings --> Manage Accounts, this is only accessible for Administrators on the account, or click (here)
At the top of the page, in the Summary section, users will be able to see their current data plan. In the example below, the data plan in use is 15GB with 14 days retention.
The “Main Account” (displayed in Bold at the top of the accounts list) has the ability to create and manage additional Logz.io sub-accounts, and allocate different data volumes and retention periods accordingly.
Main accounts can have access to the data shipped to the sub accounts, either by accessing the sub accounts themselves or by viewing the data from within the same main account. This access depends on the settings configured when creating a sub account. If the sub account is configured to be searchable via the main account, the alerts of the main account would also query the sub account index.
As you add additional sub-accounts, these will be listed under the main account, each with details on the allocated data plan.
