There are three options for sharing a dashboard or visualization. Two of the options require that the user with whom you are sharing the dashboard or visualization have access to your account in Logz.io. The third option allows you to share the object publicly.
If you want to share the dashboard and or visualization publicly, first you must create a User Token. To do this, click on the Settings icon on the top right, then click on User Tokens. At that point, create a token for the purpose of sharing the dashboard or visualization. It is ideal to have a token for every share so if you want to remove access to a particular object at any time, you can delete only that specific token.
Once you have a token, go to the visualization or dashboard and click on the Share button in the upper right of the Kibana window. At this point, you have three options. Choose the option that is best-suited for your needs, copy the provided link, and share it accordingly.
Option 1: "Embed this dashboard" -- this option allows you to embed the dashboard in an iFrame within a website. For this option to work, you must have a active Logz.io session within your browser, so you must first log into the account and then open the HTML Page with the embedded iFrame.
Option 2: "Share publicly" -- this option allows you to specify one of the tokens that you created earlier. You can share the link with anyone, so there is no need to log into the account. You can also use the link that is shown to embed the dashboard within a website without the need for authentication.
Option 3: "Share a link" -- this option allows you to share a direct link to this object with someone who already has access to Logz.io. You can copy this link and send it to another user within your Logz.io account. If they are not logged into Logz.io, they will have to log in first to see the shared object.
